Born on the Western Plains of Northern NSW, in 1984, Faber Toolboxes were developed to suit the needs of mobile cotton farm mechanics for secure tool storage under Xtreme operating conditions.
The ability to perform under blazing sun, rough driving across corrugated paddocks and levee banks, dust storms and torrential rain, has made our toolboxes the box of choice for Mining, Earthmoving, Contractors, Service Technicians, Farmers and Tradesmen.
A wide range of boxes is available to suit a variety of uses, with many custom-made to individual requirements.
Manufactured in Narrabri, Australia, we produce our unique weatherproof designs in 1.6mm hot rolled steel, laser cut and welded to provide robust construction with no moving parts which could fail.
Once assembled, all boxes are abrasive blasted, powdercoated with a 98% zinc rich primer and finished with a second colour powdercoat, providing a tough, rust resistant finish. Laboratory tests have shown this double powdercoat finish outperforms standard powdercoats under continuous salt spray conditions.

Xtreme versions are available with automotive rubber door seals and additional drainage systems to enable boxes to remain dry inside during pressure washing.
All hardware is chosen to prevent water ingress and for rust resistance. Across the range of toolboxes we use only sealed rivets, galvanised lid hinges with brass pins, zinc coated hasp n staples and stainless steel plate hinges and fittings. Lockable ‘click in’ handles are used on slope sided models to prevent unlocked latches rattling loose when you’re driving along bumpy, corrugated roads while gas struts keep lids open when you’re foraging for your tools.
With all this attention to detail it’s no wonder that all models are covered by a 20 year warranty and are sought after in a thriving second hand market. All Faber models can be traded regardless of age.
