Faber Sheetmetal produced a troop carrier for the movie ‘Resistance’ shot at Narrabri in 1989. Production started with a ‘blitz’ chassis and was totally fabricated with an RHS frame and 1.6mm mild steel body which took on the appearance of armourplate using special effects. The unit was powered by a 460HP Ford engine and used ‘borrowed’ 4WD tractor tyres for effect.
